i doubt the peek and poke works though but time will tell

it will be a while before i can build some funds up to buy a 3000 / 4000 console to test this but as you need to have a validated dump before trying then you can allways re-flash if it bricks.

erm you install rogero4.30v2 IN fsm
the patches that are for downgrading to 3.55 are the exact same patches you use to go to 4.30v2
and so the way you do it is the same ie fsm firmware install.

you just dont need to de-hash as the latest firmware is 4.30 the same as the cfw so the syscon is the same (no dehashing)
But dehashing is gonna be needed before flashing any other firmware, right or wrong?? I.e going back to ofw for whatever reason.
