Sounds interesting, so you're looking to relinquish all entitlements to the timeshare and contractually pass it on in full to another person giving all entitlement to them permanently with no option to change your mind? (just to be clear as this possibly interests me).

What's the person taking on the timeshare can't be bothered with keeping it, is there some contractual obligation to keep paying the maintenance charge each year or is it possibly to abandon all ties with it and relinquish the timeshare completely with no notice?

^ I'm genuinely very interested, have a friend in spain who used to live in Ireland and loves all the british BS. We always go on holiday together and end up in cheapo nasty places, would be nice to have run of a whole apartment for a week a year.
