To be more precise: That is something which is not the fault of any of your downgrading guides. Of course we are told about the need for a voltage regulator. But it is perhaps too easy to assume that the Teensy comes with one already included! I mean - I certainly forget to order the extra part. It is 1 miniscule SMT component for which there is no mention about it on the main PJRC ordering page for the Teensy 2.00++. I have been considering emailing PJRC to explain the issue with them. It would be nicer if they could include a clear cross-link to the optional Voltage Regulator on their main Teensy 2.0++ ordering page. But it's not even mentioned, or hinted at. And the photo there, see, is of the TOP of the Teensy, so nothing really looks to be missing on it! Go here to see what I mean:

I only didn't raise the issue because it kindda seemed like I was *****ing and moaning over nothing, just because I was tool enough to forget it myself. So what do you think?
