Indeed, not the first time a company caters for it's main consumer base and then ****s em.
Take the Sci-Fi Channel.
Starts showing only Sci-Fi shows, yet in the last few years it's changed it's name to Syfy cancelled a tonne of sci-fi shows and is now showing crap like wrestling and unreality tv shows.
So basically it made it's money from it's original audience, sci-fi fans, and now has enough money to buy other stuff which will get them better ratings and advertising revenue; but how much sci-fi do they show now?! Hardly any, and the "original" movies are like they were produced by a high school film amateur.
