Interesting.. Thanks for the knowledge. Was a lil wierded out by the fan. Lol. I multimetered everything up to the board last night. Everything tested out normal. Started checking wires and cables, and sure enough, it was the power bar (silver - chrome thing). If i press the cable up into the power bar, the standby light comes on, can turn ps3 on, eject disks, and power on through remote. I was terrified when i started having problems. Lol. Now i just need to figure out if it's the cable or the bar... Probably the bar? Or would it be relatively cheap to just purchase both? **Last concern would be if this small problem would turn the playstation off in the middle of playing? I can power it on, and let go.. All the lights disappear, but i can still play. Don't know if this means it could have been a possible over heating? Think i'm going to repaste it and custom make a case with fans that would envy computer cases.. :-D Whatcha think?

*Edit. Added pictures for a lil more clarity.*
