Could I go an buy a flasher? Sure. But if I do not have to open the box at all, and I only want to run backups, why bother flashing?
Plus, as far as making money goes, flashers cost money too. Someone is making money from that.

Ok I'm gonna take it that you can not read (or refuse to read good advice) You are on OFW 4.31 therefore cannot obtain the drive key needed without a flasher!!! Even if you could obtaion the drive key via software you would still have to open your console to install the optical drive emulation hardware. Think long and hard before you reply.... If you obtained drive key via software you would still have to disassmble the console to install cobra ode, the same as you would if you had to install a hardware flasher. So please tell me the difference??????
Either way console needs opened and you need to flash down at this present time. So in flashing down to cfw you have your needs. Why pay extra to install something you already have at your finger tips. You clearly don't grasp the fact that this device produces nothing that cfw has to offer.
