easy version:
1) games work well
2) new games dont start but old backups were working
3) he thinks changing the HDD may solves the problem
4) changed HDD and after some problems he succesfully installed rog 4.30 v2.00(he doesnt want the toobox at 2.05)
5) now backups dont work
since there has been one point from where newly copied/downloaded games dont work i think its not the HDD/PS3 itself i think its more that the data is/has been damaged somehow.... maybe faulty HDD/RAM on laptop or a faulty usb-stick
UPDATE: he usually downloads the games on a mac... he downloaded a game (trusted source) on another (windows-)laptop and he now has a blackscreen instead of that error code 80010006 when he trys to boot a game
could it be a faulty USB-stick?
