My other idea I had a little bit ago was when my hard drive got corrupted. It said I needed to re-install the OFW on the safe mode screen. (Which I did of course) but it checked it to make sure the update was a correct update then it went to another screen to do said update. What if instead of doing the update we switched out the USB's with another USB with CFW on it? What would it do? Does it constantly check to see if the USB has been unplugged? and if it does could we work around that?

true ( ithink) at least doing so would be better than just sitting in front the ps3 and stare at it untill it tells you the private key :P
