We can assume they are coming from bricked consoles but you know how the old saying goes "by assuming you make an ass out of you AND me".
If these console ID's are being generated, and they belong to active consoles on OFW this reflects bad on the scene as a whole.
I personally said **** BO2 and refuse to play it (even sold it) ever since they started banning CFW users.

Well the tools we have allow almost any user (even not experienced enough) to spoof/change/etc their console ID.
I don't blame them tough maybe they own ONE console and their on CFW and not cheating.
What i don't like is the *true colors* behind all this situation.
Sony don't care at all about this issue, hell we had that blue dildo for how much time going around in circles and users purchasing it and Sony not even lift a finger about those DRM devices.
I think, well common sense dictates that if you got banned using CFW and some game like COD black rope 2, just step out. Don't try again.
But as a said the tools are there, anyone can grab them and it's cool, problem is as a community i don't see it *right* to someone to change their console ID to get back online when they got ban hammered for justified reasons.
mM mask function as other things, sony already know they can spot any CFW user.
What hits a nerve that i saw as most you too saw, that all this **** started since some idiots started playing COD black rope 2 pre-release.
Not only they ruin the entire multiplayer experience or just playing *clean* without cheats that if they get banned they can get back on line and keep doing wtf they want. Using *random* console ID's.
Of course you have other users that use console ID, just to test or for a case they were banned for unknown reasons.
Problem is we will get more OFW's (im on ofw right now) bans as this keeps growing.
We don't have any tool or way to check or have a list or something of our HAX trusted users that got hammered and on which circunstances. Only the ban poll thread.
