Some games may start working with a game update, some may require an original Eboot and param.sfo, funnily enough I never had a problem with ANY game other than black ops after updating to Rogero.
Also make sure you only have one USB device attached as a bug used to exist where all games would give a black screen if more were present.(this may have been fixed)

1) Kmeaw to Rogero works.
2) NAND/NOR backup may help recover your console if you brick it, with the aid of a flasher.
3)PS2 games from internal was a feature of the cobra dongle.
