Load up Multiman, don't need to check any settings. Make sure its on Hermes I think though. Have a disc in the drive, and play. I didn't even delete game data or save files, or even the game installed on internal.

from what i read, a few of them still freeze even using external drive.
guess i'll try using 2.5" 5400rpm drive (too bad my 4200rpm drive is dead though). i have 60GB from my launch PS3, 120GB from Acer notebook, and 320GB from ASUS. maybe i'll try with 60GB first (slower the better right ?)
