1. No, mine was created automatically when I saved a new game with the BLUS version. I would save a new game with the PSN version and see what folder that creates. It could make the BLUS folder because I was able to use my BLUS save with the PSN version.
2. Possibly, but probably not. Just see where the PSN version saves the param.sfo and other files, and copy the hacked param.sfo to that folder.
3. Yes
4. No, it was in the BLUS folder that was created when I saved a new game using the BLUS version.
So basically, I converted my BLES save to BLUS. BLUS loaded it, but couldn't save over it so I made a new save completely. The PSN version picked up on the new saves with no converting. The PSN version didn't recognize my BLES saves at all, and they are still on my hard drive so it's only compatible with the BLUS saves.
You screwed up your PSN version installation because you overwrote the game data and not the save data.
"/dev_hdd0/game/NPUB30932" - this is the folder for the game data
"/dev_hdd0/home/savedata/NPUB30932_000X" (X could be any number) - this is the folder for save data
It may also be this: "hdd0/home/savedata/BLUS30947_000X"
Here's what I know for sure:
My save data that was in:"hdd0/home/savedata/BLUS30947_000X" was picked up by the PSN version.
My save data that was in: "hdd0/home/savedata/BLES01555_000X" was not.
My save data that was in: "hdd0/home/savedata/BLES01555_000X" converted successfully to work with BLUS30947 using the method I described earlier. But I had to make a new save completely when it loaded, and deleted the one I hacked to work. This didn't matter since I was able to load it, so I lost nothing and got a new completely legitimate save.
If I were you I'd:
Delete and reinstall the Ni No Kuni PSN version. You screwed up the games param.sfo, needs a reinstall.
Make a new game and save with the PSN version.
See if it made a new folder under hdd0/home/savedata - could be BLUS30947_000X or NPUB30932_000X.
Depending on the folder it created, edit your param.sfo saved under: hdd0/home/savedata/BLES01555_000X, change BLES01555 to whatever id the new folder that was created is using. Copy the entire contents of hdd0/home/savedata/BLES01555_000X (with the hacked param.sfo) to that new folder.
