I always desolder the nands, the power supply is stabilized from an external source. I read and write pretty much well nands type A, always at first shot. I think the problem is some incompatibility between ProgSkeet 1.2 and nands type B.
EDIT: yes, I cleaned very well both nands, and also the zif socket.
