Hi, thank you for reply.. i'm starting to understand how it works!

Initially i thought i had to save both ofw and cfw on the onboard flash, than i realzed it is 16MB and not 32 so i understood it is just impossible! :P
correct me if i'm wrong:
I copy the cfw dump on the e3 onboard memory using this switch combo: 1 down / 2 up / 3 down / 4 up / 5 down / 6 down
That is the dump i've to use everytime i roll back from ofw to cfw, cfw to ofw is only possible by updating the fw via xbm right?
i still don't understand how i can say "write the dump from the e3 onboard flash to ps3 flash"
Another question: why can't i keep 2 dumps on the microsd (cfw\ofw) and write them to the ps3 flash everytime i need?
Is there any flag in eeprom that stops me from starting a lower firmware without flashing it via FSM? o.O
