Hi all,

I'm a long time casual gamer, total noob from a technical perspective, but I know what I like. The pride in my gaming collection remains my ever loyal Sega Megadrive (model II), still hooked up to my CRT TV!

My home media machine of choice however is my PS3, fat edition, intial 40 GB harddrive replaced with a 1 TB harddrive...and less than 30 GB left of free space.

Since my PS3 has never been and will never be connected either online or to any PS store, I'm thinking about maybe jailbreaking it to add some more features to it. I've don extensive research into the matter already, but I do have some more key questions I haven't been able to answer before proceeding futher - but those are for more relevant threads.

Looking forward to interesting discussion and learning more...
