Good stuff; my 2 cents:
Do you have a site that lists known good MD5s so we can use MD5 hashers that we already have?
MD5 is susceptible to collisions, though the processing power it takes is (hopefully) beyond what the lowlives of the ps3 n00b hunter caliber currently possess.
