If you split a PKG file into parts you get 1.PKG.66600/1.PKG.66601/1.PKG.66602/1.PKG.66603/1.PKG.66604..
You need to put the 5 parts on the USB stick, open mMOS, and copy JUST THE FIRST pkg file "1.PKG.66600" to the internal drive (to the root or one of the PKG or packages folders).
This will make mM re-join the split file into one whole 1.PKG file again.
Double click the PKG when its done and it will install properly as one big file.
I am using Rogero 4.30 v2.05 and mM 04.19.05.
I think the mistake you are making is trying to instal 5 pkgs of the 1 split file.

If I'm not mistaken, this allows you to install games ( with individual file size > 4gb, like GT5 and Red Dead ) onto your internal harddrive ?
Is there any way to play those games directly off the external harddrive ? Limited space on my 40gb fatty..
