Put this
Lv2diag.self on your fat32 formatted USB stick, by itself. Put the USB in the right port and turn on your PS3. It will shut off in about 30 seconds.
Remove the USB and boot the PS3.
It is shutting off, because you are still in factory/service mode, and you formatted the HDD. So it will not boot when it can't find the function to call.
Or you can connect any logic board, with a good ribbon, and the grey power cable. Then try the FSM firmware install again.
