I have a xtronic rework station which is the American version of the aoyue, but the aoyue is actually better in my opinion for several reasons. The most important one being that it has a button to go up and down in temp(more accurate than turn dial like mine) and its starting heat temp is perfect (90°c, whereas my lowest heat setting is 150°c). But I have still reflown consoles successfully. Haven't tried a reball yet, but I'm planning on it soon enough.
Can you direct me to a good handle for the Ayoue, i did not find any yet and have a custom made one from wood
