Hey Thread, awesome tutorial. Very informative and well written, but I do have a question or two, if that's ok.

I just want to confirm the equipment required to do a downgrade on a NAND PS3. I'm entirely new to this but have done some reading and want to confirm before I drop $100 on this stuff.

So, as far as I can tell, I'll need the following items (I already have soldering equipment, fyi.);

Progskeet 1.2

Injectus JTAG programmer

And a "NAND 48 Pin TSOP CLIP" Aka 360clip?

The only one I'm really questioning is the clip dealio, what does it do? seems to just be a solderless solution for the hack. Is it required, is it really worth $40 for a one use item?

Final question; I don't suppose anyone has a used kit of this stuff they'd be willing to ship me?
