Porting codes from region to region or updated version to updated version is usually a very easy process. If somebody that knows what they are doing has the files for both versions, it's usually a very fast and easy process to do. If you have the files for both, or can obtain them from others, I should be able to port any codes as long as it's an eboot code. If it's a memory code or involves pointers, I'm probably screwed.
