I was not offended. I am cool. I was trying to send my points across.
I completely agree with you with points you make. But I differ in some point.
I respect the work that GG guys have to do the actual Devs that Maintain the Database, decrypt the second layers, and update the program.. . buying 3 Devices is up to you the everyday user does not need more then 1 region GG.. and they surly don't need locked content.. Unlike a non legit business like CU3 there are rules to follow so u don't get lawsuits and so on so something's need to be not allowed.. Not hacking Locked saves allows devs to lock games that have a lot of online play.. and so on.
hacking the locked games is just saying to the Dev that built the game who cares im on CFW.. sure I believe in freedom to do what u want with your games but in the end its just respect.

I also respect the GG team. I respect everyone.

I agree copy-protected saves are ment for online and we should respect dev and OFW users. But there are a lot of games that does not have online component and yet dev lock the saves. And also how long do you think the online component is going to last. At some point, dev/companies will shutdown the servers cause PS3 is end the of life-cycle. They can't support forever. IMO copy-protected saves is one of dumbest thing invented of this gen of gaming. Next gen gaming will be lock everything.
As for there database its downloaded to your computer each time u open your GG.. so there already giving it to you. just because they don't show u where it is does not mean u don't have it :P

I strongly believe, it is just a client viewer for the server application only. The database is not stored locally. i have search my entire HDD and registry, I could not find it. I could be wrong. Experts please your thought and finding.
think about it this way .. Paying 30$ for a device that does what the GG does and u don't have to worry about the headaches of finding the second encryption and so on and not paying for Server fees.. think about how much money is spent to actually made. they could been really nice and made it like Xploder that only resigned saves and charged you 20$ every year ?

I completely agree that paying $30 for a dummy proof product that you don't have to worry about technical stuff is great! Guess what, I would even pay $100 if GG was not server side based. If it allowed the database to be offline and editable. Every companies now are behaving like blizzard. (Topic for another day.)
don't get me wrong and think I don't want to see this move forward the IDEA is great and it will help the Scene.. but in the end u should also find out if anyone's going to be willing to get in to this before getting there hopes up as well. we all know how the userbase is and even the slite glimmer of hope will send them into the roomer mill then when u don't put out your the devil and there is nothing to change that.. this is what I don't want to see .
in the end I just don't like ppl taking the easy rout and saying o lets just take.. Specially when u have no idea who the hackers are that may have hacked them GG codes.. just remember all that's done for 30$ and then think about how much would be spent to do everything that's getting done

I did not mistook you!

I again completely agree with you. It is still at an early stage but it is promising start! We all must thank

for his dedication and brilliant programming knowledge. I believe if the code support for BSD is identically to GG, more users/members will come onboard if it is easy to port/learn/find/submit.
Yeap, $30 is nothing and yeap I don't know the hackers. But paying for a product that I don't 100% own is bad practice IMO. Why does not support multiple region, second bad practice IMO. It the very same reason why folks hack PS3 for linux. Now that Microsoft locks Office 2013 to single install and pc (Office 2013 License dies when your PC dies.), very same reason why there is openoffice. There is no false hope. Aldo has a working test version. The cheat list needs to grow and needs to be ported from GG. Those complex saves can be left at last, simple.
Thanks for sharing code information!
I really hope more members will come onboard to port GG codes to BSD format and share their own codes and finding.
