Maybe its a fuse. LOL.
You can downgrade it with a flasher. Then try and remarry the drive.
I would first check all the ribbons. It could also be the motor in the drive is bad.
If the drive chip on the logic board is cracked, that could be the problem.
IDK. Without having it, and testing everything, I can not say what is wrong.
If the logic board is bad, a remarry will fail.

you will have to test everything to figure out what is the problem. You have replaced the laser, so that shouldn't be it. Unless the laser you installed was faulty.
What I'm trying to say, is you can't expect a quick fix solution from us. You just need to test everything for yourself. Maybe Google how to diagnose a bad ps3 blu ray drive.
