Not designed to send that data to the controller means no third party will achieve this without anything short of hacking/jailbreaking. That was my point. Not that it wouldn't be nifty, it would.
They will probably allow the PS Vita to be a controller again, so who knows. Maybe that is why they are not releasing an LCD/OLED screen on the DS4.
