Thanks Ada, I screwed up completely. I thought PS1 Classics needed resigning as well.... I was SURE they did, I was SURE that I had tested it... But they work :D Thanks alot, back to Final Fantasy :D I tried resigning a few of my other games with this application, but it sucks, the old ways are easier

What you wrote about having the games extracted reminded me of a problem I am having...
I used the GameData tool to install my pkg's unto my external harddisk... However, my external harddisk broke a few weeks ago, and now my XMB is full of games that I cannot delete... It gives me an error message, when I try to delete them because it was unable to... But it will never be able to do delete them, since the HDD died  Do you know if I by any manual means, can... delete something from the file system for instance, to have them stop showing up in my xmb?
If you don't know, then its all cool, I'm going to make a thread about it one of these days  :P

I know how to get rid of them XMB icons . Create a patch that shows up in the XMB . Like PSN style game . Use just use 1 dummy eboot.bin & create a = example "NPUBXXXX/USRDIR" < Eboot copied in USRDIR. Don't for get ICON0.PNG. Also Eboot code with NPUBXXXX "Folder ID" that will get installed to dev_hdd0\game. You only need the PARAM.SFO to show up in xmb after install.
Change the param.sfo to PSN type & install like a patch /PAN game, or find a patch for the PSN game that is in XMB. After you install the patch .You can delete the icons .
I helped a friend do this long time ago .I hope you understand. The icons can not be deleted there is nothing to delete. If you have the games still ? Use the param + eboot for each game very minimum pkg. I just woke up long night so bare with me if i made a mistake anywhere .
Good luck & it is really easy to do ,as i did the pkgs all manually, now to can use aldostools to make pkg much faster ,less headache ..
