I found a video of a glitch that works post patch. I tried to post a link but it wouldnt let me due to not enough posts or something. I didnt discover this glitch so im not taking credit for it just passing it on. Make sure you are offline and create a new mycareer. Play the rookie showcase and go thru the draft. Before you play your first game spend as many of your skill points as possible.(i had 2 left) Make sure you have the quarter length set to 5min. Start the game try and have a good game so the amount of skill points you gain is greater then what you have. Play until the 4th quarter and when the clock gets to 14 seconds pause the game and quit not save and quit. You should end up with -sp. This seemed to be hit or miss it took me some time and patience to get it to work so good luck.
