I let it fix the eboot to 4.30 , repaired permissions, I put AC3 disk in the drive (just in case)... no go.

All other games and pkg work fine...

Could you describe the steps (in order) you made?

UPDATE:

IT WORKS!!

I redownload the torrent (wit utorrent not transmission), fixed permission first, then let the boot fix run, put an AC3 disk in the unit, and started from the Disk icon (where the AC3 was displayed) not /app_home/ps3_game.
