Well, it always worked, just the cooling crapped out. I had to run it without the case and an aux. fan taped to the bottom of the heatsink:
Looked bad and the fan was really loud.
The rad fan is 120mm 19-39dba ?cfm and the one on the case is 80mm 19dba ?cfm. No overheating problems at all and it runs dead quiet. I mounted a speed controller inside the shroud on the rad fan (grey knob on top of shroud) and run the fan a little below half speed.
Most of the components are from a Gigabyte kit: http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/...%20Galaxy%20II
For the water-blocks I used a pair of Danger Den units with some retainers I machined from polyproplene: http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...e=Danger%20Den
