That's actually a good idea. It's kind of like what microsoft has with the 360. I'm guessing you dont have to send it in. It wouldn't make much since to send something in to get fixed if its not broken. But of course, you can send it in to get repairs after the normal manufactures warranty expires. I just think this is cool cause even if you want to keep 3.15 and hold out on updating for now, if it does, for some reason, break you can send it in to get fixed. Better to have an updated ps3 than a broken one. I'm just posting this cause of the post earlier about sony just doing this to update ps3s. They cant unless you send it in and you dont have to unless it breaks. Compromise, broken vs updated. I'd have to choose updated and wait for a later exploit or cfw to keep otheros.

I was gonna make a point in my last post about the whole broken vs updated, but i guess it would of rendered my point useless :aetsch: hehehe.
Any news on the cfw release? ... It seems like it will never come.
