yea i guess it is pretty old but sony is lazy lol. anyway i know for a fact it works with the following games. "MW2,cod4,LBP,R&C TOD,R&C crack in time,BFBC2,killzone 2,uncharted 2,FF13...and more. The only one that doesnt work is Gta4.

^^ really? Thats news to me matte I thought that exploit was burried long ago! can somone confirm this?
What is your ps3 firmware version? we need more info on this... i will probably try to buy some of those games you mention an try the exploit again.

Firmware i have tested on was ps3 slim(CECH-2001A) 3.30 and ps3 fat(CECHL01) 3.15

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL, of course it works to bypass the firmware, the games you are saying are all playble with that firmware.
for instance if you have 3.15 firmware, and you want to play killzone 2 why would you use the exploit? killzone requires an older firmware, you dnon't need to use it. What we want is to use it if you have 1.50 for instance and want to play a game that is playble only by having 3.15 that is why this exploit exist. But i say it again this exploit doesn't work anymore.

I agree with Pockets69, those games that you have tried the method with are compatible with those firmwares, where as Read Dead Redemption isnt compatible with 3.15. |

If I'm not mistaken this is the sort of thing that you could file an injunction against. It's possible that the folks suing Sony for 3.21 might be able to hold up this game from being released, and maybe use that threat as a bargaining chip for a quick settlement.

The Prince of Persia - Forgotten Sands also has to have 3.21 or higher
It has begun. Every game from now on will follow suit.
 Good thing I bought a used slim to game on & I'm on YDL 6.2 typing this right now on my ps3. I think I'm going to play one of my 4k roms now. Suck it $ony! |
