Sony Vaio Remote Play Patch To Work On Non-Sony PC's
A few days ago Sony released their software that allows you to do essentially what Open Remote Play did. However, it is locked to Sony VAIO computers only (and Windows 7).
RichDevX has released an untested patch which we are asking you to help test to see if this works, download his patch, here |

Mac running VMWare Windows 7 (legit)
I'm on a Mac running latest version of Win7 thorugh latest VMWare Fusion. I get as far as typing the 8 digit registration and then a dialog comes up "Searching for Playstation3 System.." and never completes. Both iMac and PS3 both on same network and can normally see eachother through TVersity and other such file/media servers.
Happy to help test out more releases! |

Problems with patch
I am trying to install it, but i cannot read anything in the program.

im testing this now i got both installers
i got win 7 but it aint a sony - its a compaq lol ---------------------------------------------- edit i cant check this out yet as the tv is in use ill check it out soon

Its just you, it works fine. If you can install a client like mIRC or XChat, put in the address irc.ps3sanctuary.com, that will get you connected. |

Tested on EeePC 1000H, it doesn't work with the patch. I may be doing something wrong though, I run the patch but I get no feedback, I don't know if the patch worked or not.

i am unable to test this as on the patch there is no text nothing just boxs and i dont no what its telling me to do. i have windows 7 ultimate

You have to get and install the exe linked in the readme first then copy the exe that came with the patch to the install dir before it will work)
