Apparently there is something you are supposed to install for CDMA users. I suggest going over to the PSFreedom Wiki site and clicking on your phone. There are a couple things you need to do for the HTC Hero.

Works fine on my Sprint (CDMA) Hero. http://psfreedom.com/wiki/HTC_Hero
EDIT: Make *sure* you Nandroid before even attempting this. You'll have to use a NAND Restore after you're done to get your phone back to normal. Aside from that, it works perfectly. Last edited by R7i1c3K; 09-10-2010 at 02:21 PM. |

Assuming your one 2.1.
All you gotta to do next is fastboot zImage then insmod psfreedom.ko. To fast boot, you have to have the phone off first. Then hold Vol down button then press Power button. When screen comes up (with the three android skaters) press Vol up to get to FASTBOOT menu. Then cmd prompt on PC fastboot boot /path/of/zImage (on the pc) This assumes you already have Android SDK tools downloaded on your pc. |

I wonder if there is any possibility of this working with the Amazon Kindle.
