PS3 60gb hdd upgrade
Hello,
I'm planning a long while ago to upgrade my PS3's HDD to a bigger one, but I'm a bit afraid of it. I keep most time my data on external, and it was ok, but now it's quite annoying to connect the external drive etc.So at the moment want a bigger HDD inside. So checked the markets. There are varios brands and sizes. The bigger disc the cheaper price for gigs. My question is the following : Did anyone tried to install 1 TB HDD or 750 Gb? Please share experiences. Many thanks. |

the 1tb will not fit in the ps3 that has been covered a ton of time in different threads, any 2.5 sata hdd(laptop hdd) that is 9.5mm thick(tall) will fit, the 1tb is 12mm im pretty sure that most if not all 720gb 2.5hdd's are 9.5mm, the best way to know if a drive is going to fit is lok at the spec ether on the box or on google
