Alright guys, so many repeated questions its crazy. Let me give you a simple rundown:

If your iPod does not have Rockbox installed, start here:

1. Go to http://www.rockbox.org/download/ and download the automatic installer.
2. Once it is downloaded, open up RockboxUtility. Now plug in your iPod to your computer. Your device should pop up where it says "Selected Device"

NOTE: For it to work your device must be in Disk Mode. An easy way to tell is by going to my computer, and see if your iPod is detected there. Also open up iTunes Select your Device, under Options there should be a check for "Enable disk use"

3. Onece, plugged in and detected. In the Rockbox Utility, go to the second tab for Installation. First Press "Install the bootloader"

4. When that completes, hit "Install Rockbox" It should be automatically set to "Current build" which is fine, hit the Install button once again.

5. Once this is finished you have Rockbox installed on your iPod. Reboot your ipod by holding down MENU and SELECT (middle of the clickwheel)

Boom your booted into Rockbox, Your Almost there!

If you already have Rockbox Installed, read from here:

1. Now you will need to download the "rockbox.ipod" file to be replaced in the ".rockbox" folder

NOTE: You cannot just remove the .2 from the rb.psgroove.patch.2. This file needs to be COMPILED with the original rockbox.ipod for NANO 1G or Video 5g. Dont assume all the work has been done for you.

2. Once you have the correct rockbox.ipod file, copy it to the ".rockbox" folder, overwriting the original rockbox.ipod.

You are done, you now have the PSGROOVE exploit on your iPod.

The actual Jailbreak:

1. Power down your PS3
2. Reset your iPod so that ir runs the new rockbox.ipod script
3. Power up your PS3
4. Press the power button followed IMMEDIATELY by the eject button.
5. See if you have the 2 new folders on your "Game" tab of your PS3.

.pkg files can now be placed on the root of another thumb drive and opened from Install Package Files. Dont worry if you have no access to /app_home/PS3_GAME/

That's all i could do guys. let me know if I covered all the bases.

Get Backup Manager from here:

http://www.ps3hax.net/downloads.php?do=cat&id=27

place manager.pkg right at the root of your other thumb drive, no folders, no nothing, make sure the file is named manager.pkg. Dont place the manager.rar and expect it to work. first extract it. Then place manager.pkg right on the root of the thumb drive.

I think I repeated myself twice there, but who cares.

You should go to your disk, if you used backup manager 1.0, make sure you have one legitimate game inserted. Lets say you have "Resident Evil 5" Disk inserted. When you go to the Disk you will get the intro for RE5 as normally as you boot your game. You load Backup Manager and Load lets say "Little Big Planet" Once it kicks you back out to the XMB. YOur Resident Evil 5 Icon now should be Little Big Planet. Press it and Load it :D
