Fake, look at the time on the XMB. It walks backwards throughout the video.
IMHO and dont know if the Service mode on the PS3 uses a different clock. But probably not. |

really nice, now that this is out (or will be out in the near future) i ll take off my hat to them.
they are not good with time frames and promising stuff, but they in fact deliver stuff. Edit1 It uses the same special PUP that is used by richdevx in his method, the difference here is that it runs on unexploitable machine 3.50, while the other runs on 3.41, but both allow us to downgrade to any firmware, RichdevX should release his files and method and PWN the jailbreak guys so they stop selling overpriced ****, although i do agree that this is a great step on homebrew for others that didn't catch "homebrew train".

just look at the dongle at around 1:30 in the video and look at the dongle at around 1:52
They are completely different? The first one is the original with red/green led and the second one has a blue flashing led on top? can somebody identify this device? They say only the original device has to be updated so I see no use for using another dongle in the vid. |

it formats yours hdd (it had 30.0GB left then after updating/formating it has 97GB) aw man looks like you'll have to backup all your data befor using this thing.
