ok i bought an x3max and i am on firmware 3.41 and have downloaded the PSGroove 3.41 jailbreak, i loaded the hex file to it and had my ps3 switched off at the back (phat version), plugged in the x3max, switched it back on and pushed the power button and eject button quickly after that...it didnt work the x3max just flashes the red and blue led's (looks like cop lights) and no install pkg file folder or anything...the psgroove i downloaded came with a couple of different hex files for different usb boards...tried loaded each of them on my x3max and neither of them worked...could someone tell me what i am doing wrong please????

You weren't specific enough. All you said wad 3.41 psgroove. Psgroove is the name for all dongle based jailbreaks. Look at either pl3 or hermes v4b payloads. They are the latest.

did you before loading the HEX file flashed the generic1.1.bin file ?

yes i did flash generic.bin first and the file i downloaded all it said was PSgroove for 3.41 so that may be the problem...i will check out the hermes 4b and test that out and i will post my results of what happend

ok so i downloaded and tried hermes v4b 3.41 hex file and programmed it to my x3max and still the usb flashes like cop lights and no install pkg file folder or anything...is it something im doing wrong????
