no if you install this beta you can run the same homebrew you could before. there is no homebrew signed by devs yet, although if there was yeah you would probably run it.

so no need to jailbreak then every time ?
u see its taken me ages to get mods on in gta fallout new vegas etc and setup all the homebrew emulators and games and everything i want to be 100% before i install this and try it out Last edited by 2die4; 01-06-2011 at 07:05 PM. |

no if you want to use homebrew you need to jailbreak, but the custom firmware will always work.

Samson found out how to install this rebug pup :D
Boot into service mode and flash your PS3 with the REBUG.PUP The green light will continue to flash, and wont turn off. Turn it off manually. The PS3 will bootup after a while, also the Debug Options will be enabled in Service Mode too

but the none of the .hex's work... i rename them to h.hex and it won't work.

on some phats it hasn't been detecting the update .. just a simple workaround by putting it in service/factory mode with the downgrading files.

ahh cool nice i kept my fat one legit been using my slim for homebrew stuff
worked perfect got the payload of the rebug site and installed the pup via xmb then flashed my blackcat with the new payload jailbraked and its working perfect just trying out need for speed hot pursuit ************* [ - Post Merged - ] *************

this will not allow you to play newer games 2die4, you still need to patch the eboot.
