Anyone know why this method doesn't work with the eboot from an update. For example it was working fine when I had just the regular eboot from dev_bdvd. Then I updated to 1.09 and the game wasn't in xmb anymore. So I grabbed the eboot from dev_hdd0/game/BCUS98123/USRDIR. Ran it through unself and just keep getting invalid type: 00000008

I'm not sure if anyone else has struggled with getting this to work, but I finally managed to get it to work, so I thought I'd share the piece that I missed:
Just choose the same folder for both the first and second options (ideally where the main exe sits). The program expects a 'USRDIR' folder in the main folder with the eboot.bin file you want to patch in there.... this seems to work for me and I ended up with a 2meg pkg file, not a 1kb duffer...... Work for anyone else? |
