Great tutorial, but you can always use some of the existing tools made for this job, so no need for hex editing etc. Coincidently, i've made such an application: PSN Demo Installer and there were other similar applications released later, that did the same (maybe better, no idea).

Great work thanks for this program! I was modding the long way and it was getting old. Thanks again!
~Peace Update: I'm getting an error right after it says "the root should have files......" I get "get_id - Unable to Locate component: This application has failed to start because MSVCP100.dll was not found. Re-installing this application may fix this problem. I tried deleting then unzip to c:, but it still does not work. My guess is that it is missing the file in the error message above. Anyone else have this prob? this is probably a stupid question but im going to go there any way! I have been trying for ages now to get assasins creed BH working on my 3.41 jailbroken ps3 ipod mini 1stgen hermes 3.50 spoof multiman i cant for the life of me get it working! i have got GT5 and NFS working with modded eboots gained from this site(thanks to all the people that got them working) does these tools allow me to moddify assasins ebbot so it works or has anyone got the eboot to make it work, or being even more cheeky... Does any one want to make one for me! i have tried all the tuts in the forum. Cheers guys! |

Ooo, this will come realy handy on this forum. But yeah, i bet that Geohot wont like this that we are doing some Private stuff. But yeah, let's start doing this.
