I made you all an(other) PKG Builder, this one does almost everything. I will warn you many games don't work with the PKG trick!



Please leave some comments about how to make this program even beter!

STEPS
1) Choose the directory where your EBOOT.BIN is located. All the files located one path above the usrdir will be packed into the PKG. Most likely the whole game.

2) The version and game path can be edited. the game path can be shorted then the 8 characters, at the end it will fill up with nulls.

3) Manual is for manual editting the EBOOT.ELF and PARAM.SFO.

4) Choose between 3.41JB and 3.55CFW for package finalizing.

CHANGE LOG

• Version 1.02
• Any EBOOT.BIN folder
• Read game ID
• Read / change game version
• Change game path
• Log screen for more detailed information

i was just wondering where does the program point the .pkg to look for the files?

/dev_hdd0/game/BLES00XXX? or other dir?

Worked:
-Castlevania (include update)
-NFS Hot Pursuit (include update)
-Worms

Did not work:
-GT5 (Black screen)
-Fallout 3 GotY (not default string... blah blah error)
-inFamous (Install data message)
-Prototype (Black screen)
-Two Worlds 2 (Black screen)
-Mirrors Edge (Updated -> Game data corrupt)

It doesn't change the path, so default is PS3_GAMES, want to change it you have to do it manually

Download a FTP server for the PS3 like multiman or blackbox.

Then install an FTP client on your PC like Filezilla

Move the files from you PC with Filezilla to your PS3

Suggestion: Build it with .NET 2.0 since more people have 2.0 installed than 4.0. Unless you specificly use 4.0 features

By the way. How come GT5 doesn't work? I think I read somewhere it DID work the manual way.
