How will i update my rogero manager 7.9a to this one without deleting whats on the ps3 hdd and the external drive?

I did a system restore then checked my system info. i thought the same thing. Here's my theory: unless you completely restore the PS3 to OFW by going into safe mode and reinstalling it, your ps3 is still jailbroken even if you restore your old data. if i'm correct, it's either a format to the flash rom like the PSP or it's partitioned in a section of your HDD. What do you think?

as long as you point the BM to the folder that is holding all of your backups, you don't have to delete anything. if your backups are in the "games" or "gamez" folder, point it to it.

I was originally running Kmeaws 3.55 CFW with Rogero 7.9a and the Level 2 v4 PKG. Everything was running sweet. My BD Drive unfortunately has decided that it wown't load my Fifa 11 anymore, but on the odd occasion it did load, it ran fine, and the disc is perfect? Anyway.. The backup was running fine, off of my hdd using as I say Rogero 7.9a.

Upon seeing what this version can do, i decided I want to run it using Geohots CFW instead. As i think my PS runs alot better on Geohots compared to Kmeaws (IMO). So i updated to Sonys Official 3.55 FW (Using a USB Stick ), and then updated to Geohots 3.55. Everythings going great so far.! I then deleted Rogero 7.9a (and level 2 pkg) and installed The R-7.9c.

Heres the problem- Rogero just wownt load up.. I get the icon in the Games Tab as normal. But when i click on it, i get black screen for about 5 seconds, and then it goes back to the XMB menu?! Ive tried the stealth package and the normal one, and im using the the correct package..(the one that says geohot lol)

Should i forget the whole thing and just stick with wat i was running, Geohots doesnt run back ups anyway (i Remember reading this somewhere)?

Should i re-install the CFW?

Should i install R-7.9a and then install 7.9c over the top?

HEELP..

this manager is the FIRST one to actually work for me without any freezes, should keep pushing backups onto my PS3's HDD or should I just wait for a really stable CFW (that would come preinstalled with a BM + otheher homebrew stuff)?

backups with files under 4gb will run from ext.

I know this may be a stupid question since there is an ability to sign everything now a days but I have to ask. Is this signed to both 3.55 and 3.41? Especially 3.41, I'm trying to find a working 3.41 backup manager thats signed, I tried the signed gaia manger and that wouldnt work for some reason...it kept poping up some weird message asking somthing about playing the games. I think I said yes and it doesn't even boot the backed up games on the xmb...it won't choose the game when I tell it to. So I'm getting desperate. I mean I already got a backup manager but I have to jailbreak my system just to use it, so thats why I want to find a signed one.

1 - Delete Rogero Manager 7.9a
2 - Install Rogero Manager 7.9c



oh...i allmost forgot...when you start 7.9c, there will be many questions...make sure to chose the folder where your games are.
