I'm getting a black screen too, tried fixing permissions using Kmeaw 3.55 but nothing changes. Other PKGs working just fine. Fat PS3 80 GB.

Man that sucks, I was looking forward to use this tool, but I only get black screens, no matter what I do. Any ideas?

I have kmeaw cfw installed and this pkg doesnt work for me, after i install it i try to run it and i got a black screen, the hdd leds blinks for a few seconds and then just stop, the controller doesnt respond and i have to turn the ps3 off using the power button

after i insatlled it worked fine , loaded up and after asked me set of questions then it said its scaning then it reboted back to xmbe and dont work from ther im on meows 3.55

Its weird, but the tool works, if i set my PS3 to a 1080i resolution. My LCD only supports 1280x720, so if running at the native 720p resolution, my screen stays black. Maybe somebody else with a black screen on startup could test this. Cheers!
