Word Processor

Is it possible to run a word processor on the PS3 or perhaps something like Open Office which is an office application that is totally free?
Would Open Offiice even work on the PS3?

I aks this because there are those of us who are getting older and can't always play games lol.

I run open office via linux in the otherOS. But you would have to get down to firmware 3.15 or earlier to do so.

No, its a super computer, that's what it was marketed as when i bought it, so asking it it could do such a thing, isn't wrong, there is a homebrew app called SuiteApp, it lets you view 200+ text formats on your PS3.

Yes but it was marketed as that because it was incrediblely powerful, had internet, and other things, such as otherOS, do what u want.
