DNS error....
So, my PS3 wi-fi has always worked until today. It gives me a DNS error when I try to log in. I have no logical explination for this. I use a linksys router. Any suggestions?

Re: DNS error....
Your PS3's IP address probably changed, check the IP address and ports also place your PS3 in DMZ in try again.

Re: DNS error....
There are a number of reasons why this could be happening. 1 is another pc using the same wi-fi at the same time? 2 there is a problem where you have to make you wifi settings different (something about making it shared or opened) 3 up dates for xp. New Firewall settings possibly. I now there is because my windows media player just asked me "due to new firewall settings would you still like to share the files on the media server?' 4 make sure your wifi router is not rebooting itself and the wires are placed in tightly.' If this does not help you can just go to google or Yahoo answers and type in DNS error 80710104. You should get some results.

Re: DNS error....
go into network settings, go to internet settings , accept the warning message, then select custom -> wireless -> manual -> then just keep clicking right, so it basically picks up ur old settings all over again without having to enter anyhting.
then try it... this works for me. Everytime I get this error I just go to my settings and cycle throught the above steps and it works |
