I was having problems using f*^kpsn 4.0. I have windows 7 32 bit. KMEAW 3.55 installed on PS3. My PS3 is hooked to the internet through my laptop. The wireless card was set to sharing and my PS3 connected to my Ethernet port. When I would open f*^kpsn it would keep closing. I discovered that if I turned off the internet sharing, opened f*^kpsn then enabled internet sharing again, it would stay open and I was able to log in to psn. I noticed a few people were having this problem and this was my work around. I hope this helps out others.

Sorry maybe its a dumb question, you tell us to put the ip adress on IPv4 on DNS1 and DNS2. what do we put in the others? IP, subnet and router? its 0.0.0.0 in my ps3 and i cant go any further.
I've done everything by the tut but i cant get it to work in this part..

Thanks

Your english...is not very good... what i tell you to do...is to use the IP from your PC on your DNS1 and 2 of your PS3.

What is "0.0.0.0"?

I did every single thing perfectly and yet I am still being asked to update. I suspect that either my router or maybe comcast have something to do with my issue since I was also unable to use the dns trick..........same thing happened when I tried it.

btw......thank you very much for your tutorial which I found easy to follow......there were a few spots where my computer wouldnt comply, but otherwise it was simple enough to follow along.

The old dns trick doesn't work anymore...
Now this is the only way that you can connect to the PSN on 3.55 (oh and charles too...but charles is not that simple).

Tell me one thing...when you run the "F#ckPSN"...the cmd does it stay open...or does it closes right way?

The program stays open. Im aware the dns trick no longer works.........I tried it the first day before PSN stopped it, but it never worked for me. I am always able to connect and use the internet browser, but always get the notification to update.
