I'm on a Slim 2001A using 3.41 Hermes CFW what's the best way to update to 3.55 CFW? And what will happen to the games I have I stalled already?

OMG STOP TALKING **** so if you have original firmware 3.56 on your ps3 like everybody in todays does. if u try to jailbreak 3.56 it ur ps3 bricks. and we just need a solution for how to downgrade it!

help
i have a question and I hope someone will help me,can I download a game for ps3 to my pc,and then afterwards copy it to playstation and play it,with jailbroken console? I will be thankful for any useful information

In regards to the benefits, you will have to sign all your homebrew to have it run without jailbreaking. Please be advised that the jailbreak only works on 3.41 so be sure to check that. If you are compiling your own firmware just be sure to check your MD5 and it shouldn't brick your system. If you are using somebody else's pre-compiled firmware then you should check the MD5 and check the responses to the firmware by various users, as to whether or not it will brick your system. If you are still using your backups then you may as well not bother installing CFW yet, because you will have to jailbrake every time you wish to play backups anyways.

hey im new at this CFW and im trying to JB 3.73 FW and ive got the .PUP file installed on my USB (PS3---> UPDATE folders) and PS3 recognises it but im getting 8002F99D error!!! am i doing something wrong?
