PS3 Media Server 1.21.0 [R500] – Media Server for PS3/Xbox360
PS3 Media Server is an excellent freeware to share your media files from Windows, Mac and Linux to the PS3 and Xbox 360 without worrying about formats supported natively.
 Specifically, you can create your DLNA UPNP media server and distribute movies, music, pictures, radio and TV in a few clicks. Without having to install codecs, video and audio files are automatically transcoded and transferred to the right format in real time. A true gem, this utility incorporates the best engines in the free world: MEncoder, tsMuxer, Mplayer, FFmpeg, VideoLan. Dont ppl dont download it from megaupload ..... the ps3mediaservere has its own website just tipe in google "ps3mediaserver" and it will come up in a google proyect site.

go to the forum linked on ps3 media server blog and get the latest beta build the blog is very out of date. latest beta working fine for me

It works very well with the exception of the usual couple of codec oddities one runs into.
