The whole reason it was assembled was because the PS3 was a cheap linux super processor.

Sony would not be able to teach the Department of Defense a damn thing, Sony developers are not the smartest people in the world.

There is only one reason the public would even find out this information, its old technology and already been replaced with something far more advanced, count on it.

just so you guys know, these "supoer computers" are still in use...

& they still are the best/cheapest solution for a supercomputer,

MIT has a few ps3 cluster
Princeton, Yale, & DUke have them

the list goes on & on...
