God I hate people who think they are hot-**** because they know what something is that others don't.

From Wiki:
The Interactive Disassembler, more commonly known as simply IDA, is a disassembler used for reverse engineering. It supports a variety of executable formats for different processors and operating systems. It also can be used as a debugger for Windows PE, Mac OS X Mach-O, and Linux ELF executables.

Now was that so hard??? FFS!!!
He copied and pasted that from the author, Kthxbai.

You can't read minds.

Are we done here? I have no desire to argue, because if we did, you'd run out of things to say. Now stop replying and allow people with real comments and true opinions to post. Thanks!

@lightyear : I DID give the answer, I said that it's not going to lead to a CFW or whatever, that's basically what anyone actually wants to know, if you expect me to explain every term I use (in this case, IDA), then the post would be meaningless.. "you can compile the plugin (a software program that can be dynamically loaded at runtime) using gcc (a compiler that transforms a programming language into machine code) on Linux (an operating system, blablabla)..." It is simply not possible.. I basically say what I need to say and what I *expect* my audience to already know.. if you don't know what IDA is, then the article is not meant for you, if you still want to know, google, wikipedia, which you did, which proved that I didn't need to clutter by blog with that information anyways.

Anyways, about the "smart ass comment", read my answer to a comment on the blog : http://kakaroto.homelinux.net/2011/0...#comment-23319

@lebofly : I happened to click on the trackback comment on my blog, so i ended up reading it

I was mocking you..

You were wrong to question his post in the first place, now leave me alone.

Dear kind sir,

I did not say that because I thought it was too hard for me and maybe I can't do this. I'm sorry.

Well thank you for the response, but I just don't believe that is what you truly meant by your comment. I've followed your twitter posts, and I've seen your arrogant attitude show through every single time. People are talking about how unwarranted your idiotic comments are....like the one about pushing back CFW because of requests for an updated version....:thefinger:

I never asked you to define every single term you used...only the one that is the topic of discussion. Really, all I have to say to you is if you don't like all the stupid noob questions that will inevitably flood following the release of every single piece of homebrew software, then don't post it in public with your name attached to it. Post it anonymously....or set your accounts to private after posting so you aren't pestered.

I know the text in the OP was not posted by you, but rather a quote from kakaroto's arrogant ass. Frankly, I really don't even think it's warranted. It's not like his name is steve wozniak or anything lol
