Everyone else who has used it says everything works , I will fix the formatting issue and add links though. The please scroll up I didn't reAlise that was still there haha that was from when it was a console app . Anything else you would like me to add?
I have net framework on windows 7 (the one I tested ur app with). I tested it again and it's slow when you choose the option from the first main menu.

I'll check the ROMs again -I didn't actually try to download anything, but the website felt just like any other ROM free downloading website. Sorry about that.

I also like the puppy's pic.

The first time you launch it seems to be a bit slow I don't really know why that is, the roms yes it is from a site it just makes it a lot easier to find what you want. It's a reference tool nothing more really. Unless I upload all them roms to a site which would take for ever , it has to be that way, because the download links to most of them don't stay the same after you leave the site, I guess it's like a ticket

Ok, just downloaded a mario ROM game. Used a windows emulator, it loaded fine and I played part of it without ever owning it.
I don't see how som1 should own the ROM to play it. I just did without owning anything.

Anyway, let's go back to improving your app:
  • In the ROM section, consider adding the consoles' names underneath the pictures.
  • A word from superfurry: audio is kinda annoying. Text, please? Same goes for the rest of the app. You don't have to remove it completely, just add a toggle on/off option.
  • "Email Me": It would be better if this would pop a box out, showing your email and a button to email you using outlook/windowslive/etc... since not people use these softwares.
  • Ok, now I know why the loading time is slow. Actually, it's not: the app just waits for the audio file to complete before doing the action. Which brings me to point #2: audio is kinda annoying. Add a toggle on/off, if possible.
  • It would be best to make this app as much "offline-functionning" as possible, which includes: "Jailbreak FAQ".
  • "Firmware 3.56 of 3.60?" Just remove the audio from this one, make it "Which firmware to choose" and expose the PROs/CONs of each firmware.
  • Typing errors to fix.

Yes i Got you on a few of them thanks. The roms by law you are suppose to own the original disc/cartridge of the game if you use an emulator to play the rpm it's the same as any system you play them on, granted there are alot of free ones that have been abandoned I would of thought, but mainly the mario , zelda ones , donkey kong I guess cause it's nintendos biggest sellers. You wouldn't play them on a computer anyway. If it was up to me I wouldn't give a **** cause there old and they have enough money anyway but I just covering my self I guess. The audio thing il probley remove it all together . Il try and include an inapp email system but I have a feeling that will bring up alot of false positives in virus scanners I think because it will be calling system commands behind the scene , il give it a go anyway , but it should load up live mail anyway or something like that that's how most apps have the amok thing normally it's a link I just put a button instead. I agree with the more offline stuff tuts and faqs that's what I probably wanted for it , I don't suppose you tried the print screen button did you ?? If you could write me a couple of tuts I will gladly add them and anything else you would like to see in there. Also I'm thinking of changing the name of the whole thing , I think people get turned off cause noone wants to think of them self as a noobie haha. Anyhow if you have the mSn send me your addy in a private message and we can have a talk about it if you like. I'm glad of the help .

Thanks, superfurry

Not what I meant. I was talking about a box like this one, after you push the "Email Me" button:

So basically, it will show the user your email (and he can copy-paste it to his webmail) or just click the "EMAIL MEH" button to directly send you an email using his default Mail software, e.g. Outlook Express.

About the ROMs, I get you. You're not saying that you CAN'T play them, but that you SHOULDN'T play them unless you've got the originals as well.

Regarding tuts, I'll do my best, whenever (and if) I have the time.

Yeah that cool mate, well I've figured out a way around the email thing and it's better now basically it's a comment box you leave a comment and it will come straight to me.makes it's easier, then I can email back if I need to or just read it.
